It all started with a chance meeting on a snowy winter evening at the Captain Cook Hotel in Anchorage. Raquel, living downtown in her loft, and Austin, attending a work conference downtown, met for a simple dessert date after setting their dating app filters to “within 1 mile.” But from that moment, it was anything but ordinary. What began as a single date turned into endless adventures, from exploring Alaska to traveling the world together.

As our bond grew, so did our family. A year after we began dating, our son Weston joined us, and the three of us became inseparable. Now, we’re thrilled to begin this next chapter and celebrate our love where it all began—Alaska.
